David Spires is from Zanesville, and lived in Nashville for more than two decades playing pedal steel guitar for Shania Twain, Jo Dee Messina, Craig Campbell, and Josh Turner. He and his family are back at Buckeye Lake and he will be bringing his acoustic guitar and lap steel to sing some of his favorite country music from classics, to the 90s, and today. Join Thornville’s Christmas celebration on Sunday, December 5; the festivities begin with a holiday parade beginning at 4:30 p.m. Then, be there for a tree lighting on the front lawn of the Masonic Lodge with hot dogs, and a special guest—Santa Claus! Trinity United Church of Christ will be hosting a live nativity scene and Grace Lutheran Church will provide cookies and hot chocolate.
