Buckeye Lake Kayaking @ Fairfield Beach Boat Ramp
Fairfield Beach

Would you love to try kayaking, but don’t have the equipment? No worries – Buckeye Lake Kayaking is here for you. They have standard 10’ kayaks, specialized fishing models, and 2 person tandems. They supply everything you’ll need to have a fun and safe experience on beautiful Buckeye Lake.

After years as summer residents, Captain Buck and his 1st mate Julie have been proud to call Buckeye Lake their home since 2006. As passionate boaters, their friends and family knew that no visit to the lake would be complete without exploring the shores and seeing the sites of Ohio’s first state park aboard Captain Buck’s pontoon boat. Now you can enjoy that same experience and see Buckeye Lake the way it was meant to be seen – from the water!

2905 Leibs Island Road Northeast
Millersport, Ohio 43046

Step back in time on a guided, historic tour around the shores of the 187-year-old Buckeye Lake. Its unique history includes its legacy as the first State Park in Ohio, the home of The Buckeye Lake Amusement Park, and all the glory it created, as well as playing an important role in the Ohio Canals. As the only Sternwheeler on any inland lake in Ohio, the Queen of the Lake III can accommodate up to 50 people on public and private tours and events. She has an onboard restroom and catering is available.
