The Dawes Arboretum is excited to announce the seventh annual Winter Wonders Walk! This spectacular display of their grounds will take place on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 from 6–9p.m. Arboretum members can enjoy an exclusive members only night on Thursday, December 5 from 6-9p.m. The Dawes Arboretum is excited to announce its 1st Annual Sensory-Friendly Winter Wonders Walk* on Thursday, December 12 from 6-8p.m.

Plan your visit to explore the paved Parkwoods Trail, surrounded by illuminated trees and enjoy the beauty of nature in winter. Enjoy music, coffee and food trucks and a special appearance from Santa Claus each night! Make sure to mark your calendars for the last night as Santa’s reindeer arrive to take him home to prepare for this holiday season. You won’t want to miss it! Registration is required for all nights. Both members and non-members must pre-purchase a ticket. Please arrive during your designated arrival time. The walk is approximately one mile.

*Sensory – Friendly Night: Enjoy coffee and donuts and a special appearance by Santa Claus on Thursday, December 12! There will be smaller crowds, minimal background sounds, and they will disable distracting stimuli on our grounds. A sensory kit is included with admission that contains sunglasses and fidget devices which will be available in the Visitor Center.  A craft room will be open, and a calming room will be available in the Visitor Center for individuals that may require a quiet space for self-regulation.
