Join Hereinafter Cocktail Tavern for Wine & War: The French, the Nazis, and the Battle for France’s Greatest Treasure. The remarkable story of France’s courageous vintners who rescued its most treasured commodity from German plunder during WWII. This tasting will explore the themes from the book through some of the producers and wines that survived those challenging times. 6 wines and 3 courses of food prepared by Chef Matt Berichon. The cost is $95 per person, and it’s in conjunction with the Mid Century Barware Festival, Bottoms Up, in Lancaster, OH, that will last all weekend. What’s more mid-century than a great WWII story told through wine?
