Buckeye Lake Independence Day Boat Parade

Celebrate your Independence Day the best way we know how at Buckeye Lake… on a boat! This year’s Grand Marshalls are long-term officers of the Buckeye Lake Area Civic Association, Tim & Dianne Ryan. More info coming soon! Participants will need to register this year to receive an event number to identify their boat! Contact Marnita Swickard at 614-419-0478 or Marnita@buckeyelake.com to get registered. Start from Liebs Island and make your way down the lake to Waterfront for final judging.
The theme for our parade this year is Buckeye Lake American Jukebox Jamboree!
Choose your favorite artist or band and transform your boat into a floating concert stage. From Elvis to KISS, Springsteen to Lady Gaga, and Johnny Cash to The Village People, all music icons are welcome here. Not a music lover? No problem! Deck out your boat in patriotic flair and join the party!
There will be 3 prizes this year for people who participate.

Most Patriotic and Most Creative will be chosen from a panel of judges. The People’s Choice Award will be just that! Each boat will have a number associated with it, and you will text in to vote!
