The Dawes Arboretum is excited to announce their 1st Annual Sensory-Friendly Winter Wonders Walk on Thursday, December 12 from 6-8p.m.

Enjoy coffee and donuts and a special appearance by Santa Claus on Thursday, December 12! There will be smaller crowds, minimal background sounds, and they will disable distracting stimuli on our grounds. A sensory kit is included with admission that contains sunglasses and fidget devices which will be available in the Visitor Center.  A craft room will be open, and a calming room will be available in the Visitor Center for individuals that may require a quiet space for self-regulation.
