Help Thornville celebrate the 4th of July this year during its annual parade and festivities! The theme of the event is Betty White to honor the late star, so bring your pet to the parade to be part of the fun! The parade begins at 11 a.m. and the fun will continue at Jake Shaner Park where there will be food, games, face painting, music, and a pet show.
Join Thornville’s Christmas celebration on Sunday, December 5; the festivities begin with a holiday parade beginning at 4:30 p.m. Then, be there for a tree lighting on the front lawn of the Masonic Lodge with hot dogs, and a special guest—Santa Claus! Trinity United Church of Christ will be hosting a live nativity scene and Grace Lutheran Church will provide cookies and hot chocolate. During It’s a Wonderful Life in Thornville, collection boxes will at Thornville Methodist Church, Trinity United Church of Christ and Grace Lutheran Church for canned food donations.
