The Ohio Boating Education Course (OBEC) held at the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club includes topics such as know your boat before getting underway, operating safely, legal requirements, boating emergencies, and water sports. This class fulfills the Ohio’s mandatory boater education law requirements. This is a one day class with no charge. Educational resources are all provided. Please register by visiting the Buckeye Lake State Park Office or calling at (740) 527-4218. Passing grade results in lifetime card; temporary card issued after passing test at end of the day. There is a minimum number of participants required to hold the course.
