Sellers Point offers a unique place to experience Buckeye Lake while connecting visitors to an important chapter in the lake’s history. During the canal era, Sellers Point marked the location where the towpath connected the northwest end of Buckeye Lake to Liebs Island in Millersport, long before Buckeye Lake became Ohio’s first state park.
Today, Sellers Point extends out over the water, offering a unique vantage point and scenic views across Buckeye Lake. The public recreation area features parking, an American flag, a portable restroom, and fishing access. Located along the Buckeye Lake Multipurpose Trail, Sellers Point is an easy stop for walkers, cyclists, anglers, and anyone looking to enjoy the lake.
